Meeting Marmande October 7th
Visita a la ciudad de Marmande y recepción en el Ayuntamiento.
We visited the village of Marmande and attended a reception at the town hall
Despues, finalizamos los trabajos en los talleres.
Later, we finished the activities in the workshops.
Y por último, celebramos una fiesta de despedida en el instituto. Los padres y madres de los alumnos anfitriones prepararon una deliciosa cena. Y después, ¡a bailar!
Finally, we had a farewell party al school. Host parents prepared a delicious dinner and then everybody dance!

Meeting Marmande October 6th
Este día disfrutamos de una visita a la
ciudad de Burdeos, con un tiempo casi veraniego, y recorrimos los lugares
más significativos de la ciudad. También hubo tiempo para hacer algunas compras.
This day we enjoyed a visit to Bordeaux, in almost summer weather, and visited some interesting sights of the town. There was also some time to go shopping.

Los alumnos siguieron trabajando en los distintos talleres. Después asistieron a algunas de las clases.

Una de las actividades más
interesantes que se realizaron a lo largo de la semana fue la visita a las
cuevas de Lascaux. Obviamente, no pudimos visitar la cueva original, sino la
increíble reproducción de la misma llamada Lascaux II, gracias a la cual
pudimos apreciar la enorme variedad de formas, figuras de animales y colores
que los hombres de hace 17000 años supieron usar y representar con tanta
maestría.
Posteriormente, visitamos el pueblo de Sarlat y recorrimos el Valle de Dordogne y el Perigord Negro (Lugares Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO).

One of the most interesting activities of the week was the visit to Lascaux caves. Obviously, we couldn't visit the genuine cave, but its amazing reproduction instead. In this way we could realise the huge variety of shapes, animal figures and colours that our ancestors were able to master some 17000 years ago.
Later, we visited the village of Sarlat and went through the Dordogne Valley and Black Perigord, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Meeting Marmande October 3rd
Al llegar al instituto, fuimos recibidos por el director, que nos dio la bienvenida con unas amables palabras.
Después, la banda del centro tocó un par de canciones.
Later, the school band played a couple of songs
Los socios presentaron los diferentes trabajos realizados durante las semanas previas al encuentro.
The partner schools presented the work carried out during the weeks previous to the meeting.
Se realizaron algunos juegos para que los chicas y chicas empezaran a conocerse.
Later, some games were played that allowed the boys and girls to break the ice and begin to know each other.
Durante la tarde, los alumnos trabajaron en cuatro talleres que giraron en torno a cuatro aspectos: memoria escrita, memoria sonora, memoria grabada y memoria colectiva.
After the lunch break, students worked in four workshops which focused on four different aspects of memory: written memory, aural memory, recorded memory and collective memory.
